TAKE CAUTION SAFETY WARNING

I bought two Pottery Barn Kids Larkin cribs for my twin sons in November 2017. The crib is advertised as being a 4 in 1 crib so you can buy additional conversion kits to convert to a toddler bed etc. My sons are now 2 1/2. They started sleeping in their respective cribs at about 9 months old. I ordered the conversion kit to a toddler bed and in preparation for doing that I noticed that both the mattresses seemed to be sinking in the middle. I took the mattress off and examined it- there was no evidence of sinking in the middle. I then looked at the actual crib spring frame that the mattress sits on in the crib. The actual frame is warped and completely sunken in the middle. I looked at all the springs and they are not warped or stretched in any way.

I called customer service twice. The first time I was told by customer service that this is to be expected and the crib is two years old and the bottom wire frame will stretch out. I replied I was confused by this since they market the crib to be used throughout childhood and that the conversion kit to transition to a toddler bed requires me to use the same metal frame which is severely sunken in the middle. She stated that I could just buy some aftermarket wooden slats and put them down but that they will not replace that piece nor will they allow me to buy that piece again. I asked to speak to a supervisor at that time and was disconnected. I called back the next day and waited over an hour for a supervisor. This supervisor was named Suzanne. She also told me they will do nothing about it, and she has heard no complaints of this nature. I said I have been a long time customer and I am happy to send you pictures or that piece back to show you. She said well it could not possibly be a defect and had to be due to my children jumping in the cribs. I replied that makes no sense if your are a children furniture company and you advertise this to transition throughout their childhood that it will not even hold up 2 years. My children each weigh about 30 pounds. She then told me that if it was her and she had bought the crib she would just move on and buy a new bed. I told her I think that is ridiculous because I paid 1000 dollars for each crib with the expectation I could use them for years. She stated she is just not the " type of person who would complain to a company she would buy a new bed and keep it moving." She then agreed to let me return the toddler conversion kits I bought as obviously I cannot use them with a completely sunken in metal support piece for the mattress. They refused to do anything else and seemed to not care at all about my children safety. I have filed complaints with safer products.gov and BBB. Please be warned, because this could be a serious child safety concern as well as bad for your child's back. What is crazy is that on their OWN website they state "our sturdy, safety-tested beds are made to keep up with kids." along with a picture of two kids standing on one of their beds.

I am so disappointed in not only the quality but their customer service.

Ordered a Disney princess toddler sheet set With a personalized pillowcase, all I received was the pillowcase. When I called to find out where the rest of the order was they said that's all I had purchased. I clicked my confirmation email link and lo and behold it goes to the whole set. She tried to explain some loophole about how I ordered just an extra pillow case! Absolutely ridiculous I will never buy from here again! Not sure how they can get away with stuff like this my confirmation email clearly goes to the set not just a pillowcase.

DO NOT PURCHASE 2-3 MONTH DELIVERY!!

Wow this place is some joke, how they are in business 65 years is beyond me. It is companies like these that give wayfair and amazon a good name. I ordered $3K worth of furniture. It has been 2 months and i keep getting emails that 1 of the 5 items is on back order... they did charge my credit card for the items that are ready to ship, but never shipped. I called because im sick of waiting, they told me the item back ordered will take 1 more month and all will ship in one order, LOL !!!! I paid for WHITE GLOVE, i purchased all STICKER PRICE no discount, this is not a way to treat a client. So i asked for a manager, it took them a good 10 minutes to find one.... She was nice enough to make a "ONE TIME EXCEPTION" and ship the items they already CHARGED ME for months back..... geee luiizzzzzzzzzzz, come'on man lets be normal here..... So she comes back on the phone, and tells me "well first available date is 3 weeks from now (WOW FUNNY, EXACTLY WHEN BACK ORDER ITEM WILL ARRIVE) and i tell her its way too far out there, she said its all i can do... i say ok fine, she then says and OH BY THE WAY IF THE BACK ORDER ITEM COMES WE WILL ADD IT TO THE DELIVERY.
So pretty much, she did absolutely NOTHING!!!!!
Anyhow, i would not buy from them again, i dont want to, they are horrible.....

Worst company on the planet!!

Worst company on the planet!!
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. Bought our daughters bed here which ended up having cracked legs and it was about to collapse over. Tried contacting Pottery Barn Kids customer service multiple times which is based in the US and had an awful experience. I have been given the run around for months, they are full of empty promises and have taken no responsibility. This is a PATHETIC EXCUSE of a company!!!!! Do yourself a favour and do not buy products from them.

Wow wow wow stay away !!!!

Wow wow wow. I see all the reviews have the same story. Just like me. Waiting month and months. First they charge your credit card then months pass by and all I get is emails saying another month delay.
Customer service is as good as a 1 year old child. This place is one big joke they need to get with the times. How they manage to stay open I have no idea.
2 months and I did not get my order. I dropped $3k and no one helps. This is insane !!!!!

Worst Customer Service ever....nobody cares!

What in the world has happened to Pottery Barn Customer Service? They used to be top-notched, but have recently become the worst ever to deal with. Their customer service is horrible. I ordered a custom rocker in October 2020 and still have not received it as of April 21, 2021. The chair was ordered as a gift for my DIL who is expecting in May.
Every time I get an update, no-one can tell me for sure the status with this order. Every attempt to reach out to customer "non"-service just leaves me more and more frustrated. Their response include "a supervisor is not able to call you" (apparently their phones only work for incoming calls?,"we can't", "there is nothing more I can do", "what shows in the system is all I know" "It's only a chair, right?", and "let me transfer you to someone else" (so you are no longer my problem). I am beyond disappointed with Pottery Barn, who previously was my absolute favorite place to shop.

Order never turned up and they refuse to refund me

Ordered a gift for my daughters birthday. It was dispatched quickly (yey!).. however it never got delivered and they're refusing to refund me. No response from UPS and PB so they can't refund me until they receive the returned item (which I suspect is lost from what UPS are saying). I asked PB for help via email, I sent 3 and got 0 replies. Phoning was better in the sense that I got to speak to someone but ultimately I didn't get the present in time for my daughters birthday, now I don't need it and they're refusing me a refund. Just a really dissatisfying experience

Wasted 2 months

Just wasted 2 months on a nursery rocker for my nephew. When it was ordered it was in stock and I received a estimated arrival date. That date kept getting delayed. I called customer service 3 times. The first time they assured me that there were upcoming shipments of the product coming at the end of the week, and that since I had ordered so long ago, I would surely be next to receive the order. The second time I called (yesterday), some more time had passed and my order had now been further delayed. This customer service representative was confused and told me she could help with an investigation if I called back in two days. I was going to do that, but I logged into my account to view my order and it said "canceled." That's it. No email notifying me of the cancelation, I had to extensively track this whole process myself and not even a courtesy email that they had canceled the order without my consent. I called today to find out what happened. I spoke to one representative (who couldn't offer a solution), so I asked to speak to a supervisor (who also couldn't offer a solution). I asked if they could price match a similar item (from the same vendor). Guess what? They both gave two different excuses. One person told me that it was because the item I originally purchased was now on back-order. The supervisor said it was because it wasn't a "pottery barn" original and that it was not their fault. Not their fault that their representatives sent me on a two-month goose chase. Not their fault that they all continued to lie to me and offer false promises and different excuses. They told me they could offer 10% off but the original product I ordered was 30% off. So not only had I waited for 2 months, but I would also have to pay out of pocket, $100 more, for THEIR mistake. Just admit there was an error, and offer me a solution. Don't lie to me and gaslight me when I call with my concerns.

Pottery Barn just lost a life-long customer. I placed an order today with a competitor, and guess what? I have been guaranteed two-day shipping! What a joke. I can't believe I wasted so much time.

Worst Customer Service

Ordered an entire bedroom set for my son in July 2020. We finally got our last piece in March of 2021. It took 9 months to get all of the pieces after the original estimate was 1 month. As other reviewers have stated, they do not update you on any delays. Delivery dates come and go and you need to call them up and ask them what is happening. On top of this, they shipped the wrong item to us multiple times throughout the 9 months. The customer care reps do not seem to care at all when you call them. DO NOT order from Pottery Barn. Go anywhere else.

Monique Lhullier Velvet Pintuck Quilt

Buyer be aware! Bought the complete bedding set for my daughter. The pintuck is coming loose from fabric and hanging. I called Pottery Barn since my daughter has only had it on her bed for a month and a half. They will not replace it since it is more than 30 days! Very disappointing. Very poor quality!

Hideous, callous, uncaring service

I ordered furniture pieces for my son and his wife's first baby to set up their nursery. With their baby due in January, 2021, we ordered September 6th, 2020. The order is still not complete, February 10th, 2021. The baby was born a month ago, and we still don't have a crib. They falsely advertise inventory, showing it to ship in 4 weeks or so, when in truth, they have not been able to get any inventory from their vendor. Yesterday, on my 30th call to them to check on the crib, a supervisor told me we had been wise to follow another employee's advice in early January to give up on the first crib they wanted, cancel that one, and order my daughter-in-law's 2nd choice. I learned the original crib we ordered last September 2020 is not set to restock until July 2021. I immediately checked the website, and acted as if I were a new customer ordering fresh with that crib... PBK told me it would arrive at my house by Mid-March. This is completely untruthful. They know the next possible date they will get any of these cribs from the vendor is in July. So, more couples will plan their nursery set-up based on false promises. They promised our 2nd choice crib was showing 168 currently in stock at the time we switched to it. They said it would ship in 2 weeks. That was 5 weeks ago. Now, they told me yesterday they actually have no inventory on the crib, and hope to get some in "this Friday". Do you know how many times I've been promised inventory was arriving in a few more days? At least a DOZEN times. Yet, it never happens. Add to that, no one lifts a finger to try and show compassion or offer help. I was promised a $150 rewards card in December for our continued trouble. It never came. The whole situation has broken my heart, and caused much stress over something that should have been a big blessing to a young family preparing for their first baby. Do not order from this company! It's highly likely you will have a new baby and no furniture for the nursery. It's sad to say after decades of loyalty to Pottery Barn, PBK, and PBTeen, they have changed. Not at all the same any more. If I don't contact them, I don't hear from them. They don't seem to care at all.

Really sad pregnant customer

Back in September we travelled to a Pottery Barn Kids store to consult them on ordering a glider for our nursery. We wanted to get a very realistic, very clear sense of delivery times because of Covid. We we assured (from an employee and a manager) that it would take a MAXIMUM of 3 months, from order date to in-home delivery. So we purchased. After realizing the glider had been "in transit" for 2 months, I decided to call and get an update. Apparently the glider was "temporarily lost" and they placed a "track and trace" on the order, and that I should call back for an update in 48 hours. So begins a frustrating tale of many many phone calls, to many many customer service representatives. Each time I call I get a different story, all assuring me that the piece is in transit, and should arrive by the quoted delivery window. Mind you, this "quoted delivery window" keeps moving farther and farther into the future. But still, I just "need to be patient"!?... Finally a few days ago I just broke down crying to a rep on the phone. Its been 5 months, 3 months 'in transit'! It's really the only thing we have ordered for our nursery - and even if it isnt special to them, it is to us! I just wanted to know honestly if we could count on it by our baby's due date in 2 weeks, or if I should try to get something else in time? I have tried to simply cancel the order but they are making this impossible too, placing me on long holds, transferring me to dead-end lines! I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the lack of respect and regard that this big brand actually has for its customers. We will never, ever buy anything from the Pottery Barn family of brands, and I hope this review inspires potential PB shoppers to instead buy from other brands that care about their customers and deserve their business.

Ordered 2 beds in November and ETA…

Ordered 2 beds in November and ETA continues to be pushed back. I requested that the orders be cancelled, one was the successful the other I am told cannot be cancelled until all items arrive at the dock. The order was placed 12 weeks ago and no one has reached out to the vendor on rail arrival. Now I am told I have to wait until all items are received in order for the order to be cancelled. CONTACT YOUR VENDORS TO FIND OUT WHAT THE HOLD UP IS. Terrible business would not recommend anyone order from this company.

Undesirable customer service

Made an order that came with multiple pieces in December. 3 of 4 items made it, but the last item shipping date kept changing multiple times. Called twice, the first time they said it will arrive January 25-27 but never did. I called the second time to ask for the status and they said I was supposed to call to schedule a delivery. They never said that. All this time the item was being held in their hub for over a month. It was never shipped even though I was told it was. The person I spoked to (Carlin) was annoyed when I kept asking questions since I was confused with the conflicting information I was given. Then the item was delivered the the wrong address even though the other items were delivered to us.

Both! They sale items that they do not have in stock and have no idea when or if the items will be back ordered. Impossible to get a refund.
